C5 Road - NLEX Link Construction Update

Motorists affected by the ongoing underpass construction at Mindanao Ave corner Quirino Highway are advised of the following re-routing schemes:
Those coming from Valenzuela City bound for Quezon City (and vice versa), must take NLEX then proceed to Balintawak.
Vehicles from Novaliches, upper Caloocan and Bulacan (vice versa), should take Jordan Plains road towards Commonwealth Avenue while vehicles from other parts of Malinta and nearby barangays (vice versa), should take the Ugong-Tandang Sora road.
Unfortunately for PUJs, public utility buses or PUBs and other utility vehicles from Novaliches to Balintawak, they should expect heavy traffic in the area during rush hour and observe traffic rules and regulations.
The underpass and the link between C-5 Road on Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City and the North Luzon Expressway Valenzuela City, will be completed by April 2010 and are expected to ease traffic congestion on Commonwealth and Quezon Avenues, Tandang Sora and Visayas Avenues and Elliptical Road.
