The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority is urging all political parties to coordinate with their Traffic Operations Center before proceeding with their motorcades and campaigns along the major thoroughfares in the metro.

This came out after political candidates officially conducted their campaigns in Metro Manila and in some provinces in Luzon.

Although MMDA Chair Oscar Inocentes is aware of their right to go out and proceed with their campaign activities, he reminded them to strictly observe traffic rules and regulations to avoid disrupting traffic flow along streets and roads.

Inocentes stressed that there are no exemptions to the rule unless they want to be barred from holding their campaigns here in Metro Manila.

Organizers are advised to submit to the MMDA the schedule and route of their motorcade or parade and the number of vehicles involved.
